Overview

FreeFastPDF is a browser-based PDF tool. Your files never leave your device. All processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript — nothing is uploaded to our servers.

What Data We Collect

We collect minimal data to operate and improve the service:

• Files: None. Your PDF and image files are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Usage analytics (with consent only): Anonymous page view data including the page visited, browser type, and country. No personal identifiers.
• Cookie preferences: Your cookie consent choice, stored locally in your browser's localStorage.
• Account data (if you register): Email address and encrypted password. No financial data is collected.

Your Files — Zero Server Processing

We are emphatic on this point: FreeFastPDF processes all files client-side. When you compress a PDF, merge files, or add a signature, everything happens inside your browser tab. When you close the tab, nothing remains. We have no technical ability to access your files because they are never sent to us.

Cookies

We use cookies and browser storage for the following purposes:

• Essential cookies: Cookie consent preference stored in localStorage. No expiry set — persists until manually cleared.
• Analytics cookies (with consent): Anonymous usage statistics. These are only set if you click "Accept All".

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may set their own cookies:

• Google Fonts: Serves web fonts. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
• unpkg CDN: Serves JavaScript libraries (pdf-lib, PDF.js). No cookies set.

Data Retention

Since we don't collect your files, there is nothing file-related to retain. Analytics data (if consented) is retained for 12 months. Account data is retained until you request deletion.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@freefastpdf.com.

Children's Privacy

FreeFastPDF is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
